SAT Teacher Credentials

SAT Verbal Instructor: Mike Kelly

Mike Kelly has been teaching English to students of a variety of ages and backgrounds for over three years. In addition to leading SAT courses, he regularly instructs high-school students in reading and composition as well as assists them in college planning. Mike holds a TEFL teaching certificate and has recently taught ESL at a public high school in Thailand. Mike graduated from the University of Washington with a double major in English and Philosophy and, just to prove he's an etymology fanatic, a minor in Latin. He brings his love of language and ideas to the classroom where he makes learning vocabulary and grammar both engaging and comprehensible. With his philosophical background in logic and argument, he coaches students on how to develop the imperative skills of critical reasoning and clear writing and how to apply these skills effectively on the SAT.

SAT Math Instructor: Hao Lam

Hao Lam is the manager of two BC Education centers in Washington State. Hao actively manages the two branches in Washington State and remotely assists all the BrainChild Education centers in the entire USA.

In the past, Hao has taught Math at the Renton Technical College for a number of years. He founded BC Education Center in June 1995 and started teaching Math at the Center since then. Hao has helped hundreds of high-school students with their regular Math and has also developed a number of test-taking strategies to help SAT students take their tests more efficiently. In addition, he has also produced hundreds of SAT Math practice questions for the SAT prep course. In the past ten years, his passion in teaching has assisted numerous SAT students entering the college of their dreams.
